Canadian Assembly Plants:
Honda: Honda began building cars in Canada in 1986 and the Civic in 1988. The Civic was Canada’s best-selling car between 1998 and 2021, as well as 2024.
Ford: Ford has assembly plants in Canada, including the one in Oakville, Ontario, where the Ford Edge and Lincoln Nautilus are built.
Toyota: Toyota has manufacturing plants in Canada since 1988, where nearly half of all Canadian-sold Toyotas are made, including the RAV4.
Lexus: Lexus also makes some of its popular vehicles in Canada, including hybrid models produced in Cambridge, Ontario.
